As a relative newbie to LA, I'm so happy to have found the perfect salon. I've always loved an Aveda salon, so I did my research and chose Planet Salon. I'm so happy I did! I love Aveda products and service, but what I really keep coming back for is the amazing Sher!! I tell everyone who will listen that Sher gave me the best cut of my life last year. She was able to give me exactly what I'd been envisioning for years, but didn't quite know how to articulate. She is such a great listener, so kind and collaborative, and really took her time to explain how to care for and style my new hair. The salon itself is clean, modern, and beautiful. Every staff member is super sweet and helpful. Lots of metered parking nearby, and it's on Melrose, so you can walk up and down and visit all the fun vintage shops while showing off your new hair.
