Greetings! I'm a Chiropractor, Advanced Rolfer, and MAT Rx (Muscle Activation Techniques) Master, in Westwood and West LA, Los Angeles.

All sessions are 60 mins or 90 mins in duration. To schedule an appointment, please text: 212-586-6149.

The following are some of the conditions I treat:

  • Herniated Discs
  • Low Back & Neck Pain
  • Sciatica
  • Hip, Knee, Ankle, Foot Pain
  • Rotator Cuff Injuries
  • Jaw Pain, TMJ
  • Back spasms
  • Limited Range of Motion
  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & Fibromyalgia
  • Nutritional Counseling

  • I work with the following modalities

  • Chiropractic-  focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health; treatment consists of manipulation of the joints of spine and extremities.

  • MAT (Muscle Activation Techniques) - assesses and corrects muscular imbalances, joint instability, and limitations in range of motion. Unlike other techniques it focuses on finding the weak or inhibited muscles and turning them on.

  • Graston Technique -  is instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to detect and effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions.

  • Advanced Rolfing (Structural Integration) - or Structural Integration is a technique of deep tissue manipulation aimed at the release and realignment of the body, and the reduction of muscular and psychic tension. I'm a Certified Advanced Rolfer.

  • ART (Active Release Techniques) - is a soft tissue system that is movement based. It is used to treat problems that involve the muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves.

  • NMT (NeuroMuscular Therapy) -  is a form of deep tissue massage in which digital pressure and friction are used to release areas of strain in the muscle.

  • Kinesio Taping (KT Tape) - is a rehabilitative taping technique designed to facilitate the body's natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints.

------

I recently moved back to Los Angeles to set up a new practice. Doing body work has been a life-long passion and I've now been in practice over 30 years.

I'm originally from Montreal, Canada where I received a bachelor's degree in Phsyiology from McGill University. I moved to New York in 1985, and graduated from the Swedish Institute of New York City in 1990 and became a Licensed Massage Therapist. Over the years I became certified as a Rolfer (Structural Integration), and then Advanced Rolfer. I eventually also got certified in MAT (Muscle Activation Techniques), ART (Active Release Techniques), NMT (Neuromuscular Therapy), Graston Techniques, Kinesio-Taping, Deep-Tissue, Medical Massage, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Foot Reflexology, Shiatsu. I'm also currently studying Functional Medicine.

The key to making the pain go away

    Overall Rating

I have seen Dr Eric twice. He is a nice guy, but more important are his brains and ability. My back has been giving me problems for years... (thanks to my motorcycle accidents, pins and plates in my ankle and a few blown discs). His treatments were unlike any that I had before -they were almost scientific. It was as though he had analyzed my "back problem" and was doing exactly what needed to be done to help heal it. Then he gave me some exercises to do to help strengthen my lower back.

    In-depth understanding of the body

    Overall Rating

I went to Dr Eric for to help me with some sciatica that was becoming a huge problem for me. He was very patient with my concerns, asked a number of questions to make sure he understood exactly what I was feeling, and then explained the reasons for the pain. As he worked on the problem areas it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing, and he was responsive to my concerns. And after the treatment he gave me some exercises - which I have been applying every day. He explained why they would benefit me, and had me do them while he watched to make sure I truly understood them. The results of this one session were remarkable. I'm very grateful for Dr. Eric's work and I recommend him to anyone who i.
